Good Morning and Happy Sunday! Another Sunday morning classic I had growing up was blueberry muffins. Whether it was out of the packet or from scratch, having muffins for breakfast was a berry welcome treat. Blueberry muffins weren’t always a clear favorite for me. Don’t get me wrong, I always liked blueberry muffins but they weren’t always my favorite. Overtime my tastes changed and blueberry muffins became my number one muffin flavor. Good Morning and Happy Valentine’s Day! It feels good to be back making recipes again. I thought I would make a special post and share a recipe I originally made back in college. Though technically back then I didn’t use recipes, I think I was able to make something just as sweet. It’s another Christmas classic that is requested every year by at least one family member, much to my mother’s chagrin. Good Morning and Happy Monday! Today’s festive recipe will hopefully make the holiday baking bug start to bloom. That’s right, we’re making peanut blossoms today. These cookies are one of the few Christmas cookie staples my family make each year. The first dozen of peanut blossoms never lasted long because everyone wanted a cookie right out of the oven. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! This week I thought I would revisit a recipe that truly lives up to its name – Sassy Cinnamon Muffins. When I was younger, I always helped my mom bake and these muffins were a firm favorite. It was a recipe that my mom made in home ec and kept ever since. One day I wanted to make these muffins by myself. I gathered all the ingredients, leveled out my measurements and put those muffins in the oven. Much to my surprise, they did not rise to the occasion.
