Good Morning and Happy Monday! Today’s festive recipe will hopefully make the holiday baking bug start to bloom. That’s right, we’re making peanut blossoms today. These cookies are one of the few Christmas cookie staples my family make each year. The first dozen of peanut blossoms never lasted long because everyone wanted a cookie right out of the oven. The chocolate was perfectly melted over a wonderfully warm peanut butter cookie. What’s better than that?

Browned Butter Chocolate Bar Cookies

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! I decided to take a step back this week and just make some cookies. These are good for those cosy days that you really want to take some time out and make a little something sweet. From browning the butter to chopping up the chocolate, it’s all about slowing down. These have the warm kind of sweetness that caramel has from the browned butter.

Pumpkin Cutout Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting

Happy Sunday! It’s the most wonderful time of the year – Halloween! The leaves are crunchy, the cinnamon is abundant, and the air is cool and crisp. What more could you want? Every holiday can easily be adorned with your regular ol’ butter cutout cookies.  However, I wanted to try something a little different and add a bit of fall into these cookies.
