Triple Chocolate Cookies

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! I hope you are all keeping cool this three-day weekend. If you’re looking for something to sweeten up your picnics, try out these cookies. They are fudgy and pack a chocolate punch. You can crumble them over some ice cream or enjoy them directly out of the oven.

Dorothy’s Test Kitchen

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 1/4 cup sugar

2 eggs

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 cups flour

3 chocolate bars (i used 1 dark, 1 milk, and 1 white chocolate bar)

 

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Mix together butter and sugar until you get a light texture. Mix in the eggs until they are just incorporated. Stir in the dry ingredients. Chop the chocolate bars to your liking and fold the pieces into the batter. Bake for 8-10 minutes for smaller cookies and 10-13 for larger cookies. Let the cookies set for about 2 minutes and let cook on a wire rack.
