Good Morning and Happy Saturday! This morning I’d like to share my Grandma’s butter cookie recipe. It’s another Christmas classic that is requested every year by at least one family member, much to my mother’s chagrin. I, however, always loved rolling out and decorating these cookies over the holidays. I have been known to break this recipe out for any sort of holiday and season.

I only really remember my family making it from scratch one time in my life, and I didn’t really remember what it entailed. I just remembered it was a crisp and wonderfully buttery treat.

These cookies are one of the few Christmas cookie staples my family make each year. The first dozen of peanut blossoms never lasted long because everyone wanted a cookie right out of the oven.
